We had a chance to use and review the Fenix L2D LED flashlight. This small light offers many functions in a small size using standard AA batteries. The Fenix L2D has 4 brightness settings as well as flashing strobe and SOS functions for signaling. We compared it to some other lights too and this light puts out a lot of light. The simple one button control requires some learning to use the various features, but it is not very complicated. Overall, for the price, (about half of many high quality lights) this light performs well compared to others

Some of the editors of GunWebsites.com spent an evening (and night) working on low light shooting drills. We do this regularly, and this time we decided to bring along some of our collection of handheld flashlights, weapons lights, hands free lights and keychain lights to test, evaluate and compare. Here are the results of our simple beam comparison test. We review lights made by Surefire, Streamlight, Princeton Tec, Fenix, Coast and others.

This is a Rock River AR15. It has been registered as a Short Barrel Rifle (SBR) so it has a 10 inch barrel. It sports an Aimpoint T1 optic and many other high end accessories. The most recent modification to this rifle is its paint job. it is a subtle, unique cammo pattern designed by the owner for the environments where he lives (Tucson, Arizona). Because the terrain is mostly rocks and sand with plenty of grass, and plants, but few trees, the tan and brown colors were chosen over greens and black. The technique used for this paint scheme is fairly simple, but the placement of colors, shapes and textures blend to create a camouflage that melts into many backgrounds. Another facet of this paint job is its ability to break up the rifles silhouette. It is difficult to see with night vision compared to a standard black rifle as well. The paints used were off the shelf Krylon Camouflage Paints. This paintjob can easily be patched and reapplied over time because this rifles sees heavy use between training classes, shooting drills, target practice and product evaluations

Pima County Shooting Ranges
We provide shooters and hunters information on the Pima County Shooting Ranges. We work with the the shooters and staff at the Southeast Regional Park Shooting Range and Tucson Mountain Park Shooting Ranges in Tucson, Arizona. Since June 2005 we have maintained this website for the Pima County AZ Shooting Ranges. Ask a question via online forms, read the safety and range rules, see pictures of the ranges, get maps and directions to the ranges too.
