This is a Rock River AR15. It has been registered as a Short Barrel Rifle (SBR) so it has a 10 inch barrel. It sports an Aimpoint T1 optic and many other high end accessories. The most recent modification to this rifle is its paint job. it is a subtle, unique cammo pattern designed by the owner for the environments where he lives (Tucson, Arizona). Because the terrain is mostly rocks and sand with plenty of grass, and plants, but few trees, the tan and brown colors were chosen over greens and black. The technique used for this paint scheme is fairly simple, but the placement of colors, shapes and textures blend to create a camouflage that melts into many backgrounds. Another facet of this paint job is its ability to break up the rifles silhouette. It is difficult to see with night vision compared to a standard black rifle as well. The paints used were off the shelf Krylon Camouflage Paints. This paintjob can easily be patched and reapplied over time because this rifles sees heavy use between training classes, shooting drills, target practice and product evaluations
